Our Physics mock preparation courses will get students off to a flying start with their January mock preparation. Tutors will revise key Year 13 content which is likely to have been covered in the Autumn term. Attention will then be focused on improving exam technique. By showing students how to think like an examiner, tutors will enable students to consistently hit all assessment objectives and score those top marks. Getting the ball rolling early with revision means students will have time to work on any weaknesses identified by the course during the Christmas holidays. Having this time to consolidate the skills and knowledge learnt means students will be ready to ace their exams when they return to school.
Learners are supported beyond the courses through the provision of high-quality, comprehensive and original materials, including notes, guides and question booklets. These resources have been specially created to supplement the learning experience.
If you need help deciding if you will benefit from this course you can contact us. Alternatively, you may prefer to book 1-2-1 tuition instead.
Classes are from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Registration starts from 9.15am.
There will be a 1 hour lunch break and a couple of 10 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.

Darren completed a BSc in Theoretical Physics at the University of York, before taking on an MSc in Theoretical Physics at the University of Glasgow – the latter awarding him with a postgraduate excellence scholarship.
After exploring a variety of career paths, including engineering, Darren eventually settled on teaching and hasn’t looked back. Since becoming a teacher and A Level maths and physics tutor, he’s acquired a wealth of experience working across different school contexts and exam boards. He’s currently completing an MA in Leadership in Learning, to further his skills even more.

Peter graduated from St John’s College, Oxford University, with two master’s degrees (including Computer Science), a BSc in Physics, and a PGCE in Secondary School Science. On top of that, he also has 20 years of experience working in programming and IT project management. Today Peter is an experienced A Level Physics and Computer Science teacher, working at a further education college and tutoring privately.
During his career, Peter has taught a wide range of students of all ability levels, many of whom have gone on to study at leading institutions. Whether he’s teaching physics or computer science, Peter believes taking a practical approach and doing is the best way for students to learn – particularly when it comes to problem-solving. He also has a ‘no stupid questions’ policy – given that ‘stupid questions’ have often led to some of the greatest scientific answers of our time.
