Biology A Level Christmas Revision Course – Online

Course Information

Course Description

Our Biology mock preparation courses will get students off to a flying start with their January mock preparation. Tutors will revise key Year 13 content which is likely to have been covered in the Autumn term. Attention will then be focused on improving exam technique. By showing students how to think like an examiner, tutors will enable students to consistently hit all assessment objectives and score those top marks. Getting the ball rolling early with revision means students will have time to work on any weaknesses identified by the course during the Christmas holidays. Having this time to consolidate the skills and knowledge learnt means students will be ready to ace their exams when they return to school.

Learners are supported beyond the courses through the provision of high-quality, comprehensive and original materials, including notes, guides and question booklets. These resources have been specially created to supplement the learning experience.

Suitable for:

  • Year 13 students
  • Students looking to improve exam technique in preparation for their January mock exams
  • Year 12 students
  • Students who haven’t already been taught the topics in the course timetable
  • Students who are predicted D or below

If you need help deciding if you will benefit from this course you can contact us. Alternatively, you may prefer to book 1-2-1 tuition instead.

Our Tutors

We’re lucky to work with a fantastic team of professional tutors and teachers, many of whom have taught at some of the best state and independent schools in the country. We’ve hand-picked them not only for their glowing academic credentials but also for their innovative teaching styles, engaging personalities, and inspiring enthusiasm for their subjects.

Robin B.

Robin B.

Robin has taught A Level Biology for 13 years and currently teaches at a school in Kenya. During his career, he’s worked in several high-achieving schools, both in the UK and overseas, and has been head of department in three. He has a fantastic track record, with two of his previous students achieving ‘Top in Country’ awards for academic excellence.

Whether Robin is teaching or enjoying his spare time, he lives and breathes biology. A nature lover, he often brings his real-world experience in fieldwork into his tutoring sessions, giving his students a richer insight into the subject. This, paired with his broad knowledge, helps his students to secure top marks.

Owen B.

Owen B.

Owen achieved his BSc in Zoology from Newcastle University and today teaches AQA A Level Biology at a sixth-form college in West Yorkshire. He began teaching the AQA specification in 2016, which has given him a thorough knowledge of the course content and exam papers. As such, many of his students have achieved fantastic results in their exams.

Owen focuses heavily on fundamental biological principles, helping students develop a thorough understanding that enables them to apply that knowledge to unfamiliar concepts. Whether he’s teaching in a classroom or tutoring privately, his engaging and motivational teaching style ensures students feel involved and supported at every stage.
